WHAT GOES WITH LAMB
In Christian, Jewish, and Muslim symbolism the lamb is the victim to be sacrificed; the death and resurrection of Christ for Christian Easter, renewal for Pesah, and sacrifice of Ramadan.
Still today Greece Easter is the biggest holiday, and nearly everyone roasts a whole lamb on a “Souvla” - a large spit.
Regardless of conviction, a roast leg of lamb at the dinner table is a symbol of a happy reunion with friends and family.
Lamb dishes proliferate all over the world with their prefered herbs and spices and method of cooking it.
Here are few examples with ideas of how to make a full menu with lamb.
