WHAT GOES WITH ...

Is a Menu Dice the solutions?

There are so many possibilities when compiling a Dinner Party Menu for guests, that one is overwhelmed by the multitude of recipes, combinations of tastes, textures, temperatures, difficulties, etc...

Some guests are friends who are happy to chat or help you in the kitchen.

Some guests have eating disorder.... no onions or starch, no fish or chicken.

Some have philosophical obedience, no pork or beef or meat.

In the Victorian era, this problem were often resolved by serving choices (similar to airlines - chicken or beef) but today there is no time to indulge our quirky friends, and hopefully this site will make your task much easier to decide what to serve.

Having friends for dinner is a very enjoyable experience, if one can plan, use simple recipes, and inject some interesting touches to make it exciting and relax and have fun with your guests.

Each of the Main Courses have been chosen to harmonize and balance with Starters,  Side Dishes and Desserts from casual to fine dining from simple to more elaborate.

Main Courses are divided into 5 categories:

What to serve with:

Chicken, Beef, Lamb, Fish, or Vegetarian.

The Starters are divided into:

Soups, Quiches, Dips and Pâté, Filo Pastry Triangle, Empanadas, Bruschettas, Samosas, Salads and Pizzas

Bon Appétit.

The Dessert is chosen to balance the starters or the main course:

Light puddings or fruit desserts are included but you will still be able to indulge in the best of Cakes and Tarts when possible.

There is a proven and tested recipe for each dish, some of them simple, some more complicated. The menus are adjusted to balance the time and effort in creating each dish.

When you choose your menu, make sure that it would please all your guests, but do not submit all your guests to the particularity of just one of them. If you have only one vegetarian, make a bigger salad, if someone is on slimming diet, serve a creamy sauce separately and add or substitute a fruit salad for a rich desert.

I hope most of your menu planning dilemmas will be solved with this site.

I would appreciate any comments or suggestions that would improve this site.
