A Cape Malays Lamb Curry as a Main Course with Yellow Rice and Ramekins as a side-dishes.

An Argentinian Flan for Dessert

Samosas are the perfect starters for a Curry. You can make them with filo pastry and bake them. Use different fillings and enjoy them as finger food. You can freeze them unbaked.

The Cape Malays Lamb Curry is a fusion of a traditional South African spices. Make it on the day or freeze it. It can take up to 2 hours in the oven to get the lamb cooked to perfection.

The Curry freezes very well.

A very quick and easy Yellow Rice takes 30 min to simmer and the addition of raisin goes perfectly with the Curry.

Ramekins with chopped fruits: bananas and pineapples and chopped vegetables: tomatoes and onions can be prepared 1 hour before. You could also add a ramekin with chutney.

The Argentinian Flan is a short cut to the famous Crème Caramel. Easy to make and takes about 40 min in the oven. More convenient to make it a day before.

This menu requires some planning, but frees you to enjoy the evening without having to check or prepare things in the kitchen.
