A Main Course with Moussaka

And a Baklava with Almonds and Cranberries

A Greek evening. Brake the plates and dance the Sirtaki.

The Greek Salad can be assemble 1 hour before. The salad serve the purpose of a starter and a side dish for the Moussaka.

The Moussaka is a meal on its own with mince lamb and vegetables. It can be frozen, unbaked, defrost in the morning and baked before eating.

If you have time, experiment with this new filling for the Baklava, it can be baked few days before or buy a traditional one from a Greek Speciality Shop.

An easy menu to serve and prepare. The dessert does take awhile to make and should be made in advance or bought ready made.
