MENU 1

A Hot Soup as a starter.

A Main Course with the all time favorite, Beef Stew and White Rice

A popular Bread Pudding as a Dessert

This menu is suitable for cold evening when one is looking for comfort food. Perfect if you want to relax and enjoy the evening as all can be made in advance and just reheated.

The soup can be made on the day or defrosted from frozen. Soups are a perfect example of cooking a huge quantity as it is always welcome as a starter and freezes very well. A hot soup will go very well with the Beef Stew. Make sure you have some crispy baguettes to serve it with.

The Beef Stew has a combination of meat and vegetable. A dash of wine makes it more interesting. It can be made a few days before and kept in the fridge. Depending on your schedule you could even make it any time and freeze it. 

The rice is so easy that it can be half an hour before serving it.

The Bread Pudding can be made a day before and reheated in the microwave.​

MENU 2

You could change the rice for Quinoa and replace the Bread Pudding with a Cheese Cake

CHEESE CAKE

The Quinoa takes 30 min to cook. Perfect to absorb all the juice from the stew.

The Cheese Cake freezes very well and by making a double recipe, you can place one in the freezer and eat the other the next day.
