BREAD PUDDING
A universal dessert, Bread Pudding originated in the 11th Century, it is made with different ingredients in different parts of the world. Its popularity is due to the neutral basic flavour, the use of stale bread and the ability to have any thing added to it.

1 cup milk
1 egg
1 cup sugar
2 cups raisin
2 ripe bananas, mashed.
1 ½ cup flour
2 tbs cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
2 cup cubed stale bread

Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F)

Spray with cooking spray a square baking tin 20 cm (8") square

Mix the milk, egg, sugar, raisins and bananas

In the bowl of a food mixer, place flour and spices and bread.

Add the milk mixture to the bowl and stir till all is well mixed.

Pour it into the prepared tin and bake for about 45min.

Test with a toothpick to see if ready.

Serve warm with Ice Cream
