QUINOA

1 cup quinoa
2 cup water

Rince quinoa under running water, mixing with your hands to remove all the saponins which gives it a bitter taste.

Put the rinsed quinoa in a large frying pan over medium heat to toast it. Shake from time to time so as to brown all the grains.

Cook, shaking the pan for around 15 minutes or until the quinoa is golden brown.

Add boiling water to the pan, boil all together. When all is boiling reduce heat, cover and simmer for +-15 minutes.

Remove from heat and fluff with a fork.
Serving Suggestions
One can add chopped vegetables, to add flavour if you serving it with a plain dish.
Can be used cold as a salad.
