RED CABBAGE SALAD

At last not a "Green" but "Red" salad, nice crispy ingredients and fresh salad dressing.

RED CABBAGE SALAD

1 red cabbage chopped with Food Processor

1 onion chopped with Food Processor

 

  • Mix these two ingredients in a large bowl

 

1 cup slivered almond

1 cup sunflower seeds

2 tb sesame seeds

1 packet Maggi 2 minutes noodles

 

  • Roast these 4 ingredients in an oven at 180°C (350°F) for 15min or until crispy and slightly brown.

Salad Dressing:

1/8 cup vinegar

1/4 cup oil

1/4 cup sugar

1/4 cup water

1tbs Soya sauce

 

  • Place salad dressing ingredients in a bottle and shake it or in a bowl and beat it with a fork till it emulsifies.

  • Pour salad dressing into the bowl with the cabbage and onion and sprinkle the roasted ingredients on top. Mix well.

  • Serve on the same day or keeps for a week in the refrigerator.

 

TIPS

* This salad will keep fresh for few days.
