LAMB CHOPS

WHAT TO SERVE WITH LAMB CHOPS

This recipe is for grilled chops in an oven using the grill setting. The shoulder chops have more meat and the loin chops are more tender. Either of them can be used for grilling.

LAMB CHOPS

2 to 3 chops per person

salt and freshly ground black pepper

few rosemary sprigs

Take the chops out of the fridge 20 min before cooking

Turn the oven on grill

Place rosemary on oven tray

Place grilling tray on top

Place chops on the grilling tray

Sprinkle salt and pepper

Place trays on top shelve

Grill for about 10 min, check if done to your liking and turn chops

Grill chops on the other side for another 10 min

Serve with mint sauce.

TIPS

* Make a cut on the fatty side of the chops before grilling them, it will stop them from curling.

* You could place a sprig of fresh rosemary and one or two cloves of garlic unpeeled at the bottom of the grilling pan to add flavour to the chops.

Serving Suggestions:

Serve the chops with Spanish Rice as a Side.
