BAKED SALMON

WHAT TO SERVE WITH BAKED SALMON

Fresh or Smoked, salmon is always appreciated. This recipe with fresh Salmon is quick and the herbs in which it is marinated gives a delicious flavour.

Serves 6

Baked Salmon

1 kg (2.2 lb) Salmon filleted

1 bunch chives chopped

2 shallots or 1 onion finely chopped
2 garlic cloves minced

2 tbs soya sauce
4 tbs sunflower oil
juice of one lemon

salt and freshly ground black pepper

  • Place salmon on a pyrex or oven proof dish

  • Mix oil, soya, lemon juice, garlic, chives and the onion, spinkle salt and pepper.

  • Brush the salmon with this mixture and let it stand for 1 hour

  • Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F)

  • Place dish in oven for about 20 to 30 min.
