ALMOND CAKE IN MARSALA

A tomato and Mozzarella Caprese Salad to start with, easy to make and full of flavour, oregano and basil herbs added to it. Just drizzle some oil and can be kept in the fridge for an hour or two.

The Prawn and Tarama sauce can be prepared in advance. Boil the penne when ready to eat; warm up the sauce, and when penne are ready, drain and mix with the sauce.

The Almond Cake has no flour and is made with grind almonds. It can be baked the day before and pour the Marsala sauce on top. It gives time for the cake to absorb the sauce.

A menu for a casual get together and to enjoy a very simple dinner with friends. The cake with its Marsala wine will be the surprise to end this meal.
