SPICY LAMB SAMOSAS

Serves 8

Spicy Lamb Samosas

5 tbs sunflower oil

3 chopped onions

250 g (1/2 lb) mince lamb

2 chopped tomatoes

2 chopped green chillies

2 chopped garlic cloves

1 tsp chilli powder

1 tsp garam masala

1 tsp tomato puree

salt

1 cup water

100 g (4 oz) peeled and cubed potatoes

  • Heat the oil in a pan and fry the onions till soft and golden.

  • Brown the lamb.

  • Add the tomatoes, chillies and garlic

  • Add the spices, the tomato puree and salt. Mix it all together

  • Add the water and bring to the boil.

  • Add the potatoes, cover and reduce heat.Let it simmer for about 20 min till it's all cooked and thick.

  • Remove from the heat and let it cool.
