CALAMARI
WHAT TO SERVE WITH CALAMARI
For such a strange fish, Wikipedia feature more country cooking it than any other! They all have different names and variations in their cooking or accompanying sauces: peppercorn mayonnaise, tzatziki, or in the United States, marinara sauce, tartar sauce, or cocktail sauce. In Mexico it is served with Tabasco sauce or habanero. Other dips, such as ketchup, aioli, and olive oil are used. In Lebanon, Syria and Turkey it is served with tarator, a sauce made using tahini. Like many seafood dishes, it may be served with a slice of lemon. but the cooking of the calamari are all very similar.
Serves 4

500 g (1 lb) Calamari
2 tbs Corn flour
4 tbs Semolina
1tsp Salt
1ts Paprika

Mix all in a plastic bag and shake it.

Add oil in a pan, about 4cm (1.5").

Heat pan till a pinch of breadcrumb is golden and fry the calamari.

When calamari are golden, remove with a slotted spoon and dry calamari in a paper towel.
TIPS
* You can get ready crumbed calamari in the frozen section at supermarket. It will save you the preparation.

Serving Suggestions:
Calamari goes well with French Fries and a green Salad.
Add quartered Lemons to squeeze the juice.
A mayonnaise or a spicy sauce to go with.
